Eva van der Pluijm

Eva is an enthusiastic and ambitious student who has just completed her bachelor’s degree in Governance and Organizational Sciences. During her studies, she further explored other disciplines, including the minor in Social Entrepreneurship and the minor in Work and Organizational Psychology. Starting in September, she will be pursuing a master’s in Public Management. Eva enjoys discovering new things. That’s why she conducted research in Aruba on the resilience of the tourism sector on the island and studied for six months at the University of California. Eva is interested in societal issues and the public domain. For this reason, she has been working in municipal government for several years. By approaching issues from different perspectives, she works toward surprising solutions. Her approach is practical and results-oriented. By working at YAG, Eva wants to develop her knowledge and skills in practice alongside her studies and gain more experience in a wide range of fields.

Dagmar Jansen

Dagmar began her studies with a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Groningen, where she was able to apply both her medical and engineering interests. Because she is always working to further herself and challenge herself even more, she also began a bachelor’s degree in Physics. In addition to her technical studies, Dagmar discovered an interest in consulting, where she can apply her ambition, creativity and analytical skills to tackle complex issues. Her positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team make her a valuable asset, always willing to contribute to innovative solutions. In her busy life, Dagmar also makes plenty of time to relax. Thus, she has always spent a lot of time on the hockey field and performed in various musicals. She looks forward to applying her knowledge and developing herself both professionally and personally!

Ties Leneman

Ties is characterized by his positive attitude, eagerness to learn and determination. There is always a healthy mix of hard work and conviviality with Ties, inspiring clients and colleagues. He is currently completing the BSc in information science and will then begin the Master’s in computational cognitive science. With a solid foundation in data analysis and information processing, Ties is well prepared to tackle complex problems and come up with innovative solutions. As a volunteer, Ties is committed to the community by working with his committee to organize sports days for children in the AZC. Here he combines his passion for sports with his commitment to social welfare. In his free time, Ties likes to socialize with friends by playing a game of padel or an evening of cards with a beer. He also owns an FC Groningen season ticket which means he can regularly be found in the Euroborg.

Philine Hoijtink

Philine is a driven student at the end of her bachelor’s degree International Business.
She broadened her studies with a minor in Hong Kong and plans to pursue a master’s degree in Marketing at RUG after completing her bachelor’s degree.

She is generally positive and almost always enthusiastic.
She enjoys working with others to achieve optimal results.
Philine has a lot of experience teaching (or tutoring).
She tutored elementary and middle school students during her high school years.
She supervised working groups on Organizational Structure as a student assistant.
During her second year of college, she dedicated herself to charity by raising money for a project in Suriname with her “Nacht van de Fooi” committee and promoting the local hospitality industry in Groningen.

The time she has left over from her studies and work for YAG, she likes to spend with friends, chatting, dancing and when her budget allows, skiing.

Anne Bijsterbosch

Anne is a driven and enthusiastic Economics & Business Economics student at the University of Groningen. With a keen interest in investing, Anne immersed herself in the world of finance by joining the investing team at the Financial Student Association Groningen, where she manages a joint investment portfolio with other students. This passion for finance also led her abroad, where she completed a minor in Marketing & Finance in Hong Kong. This has allowed Anne not only to broaden her knowledge, but also to fulfill her passion for traveling and discovering new cultures. In her free time, she enjoys spending time on the hockey field or with friends on the terrace. Her ability to solve complex consulting issues, combined with her team spirit makes for a valuable contribution to Young Advisory Group.

Nathan de Boo

With an indomitable curiosity and enthusiasm, Nathan constantly seeks new development opportunities. During his undergraduate studies in mathematics at Utrecht University, he acquired skills in analysing complex problems and finding step-by-step solutions. Outside his studies, Nathan discovered his passion for board work within the student union, where he even served as president for a year. These experiences sparked his interest in policy-making and organisational structures, which led to his decision to pursue a minor in Administrative and Organisational Sciences. Driven by his inquisitive nature and desire for new skills, Nathan chose to join the Young Advisory Group. Here he can apply his problem-solving thinking skills to strategic issues. His love for interacting with people is reflected in his preference to be surrounded by others, both to learn from them and to share his own knowledge. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, delving deeper into political issues and attending theatre performances.

Inés de Jong

Inés is a broadly interested and curious student. She completed her undergraduate Psychology degree with a semester in Norway, where she was introduced to Norwegian culture and beautiful nature. Upon returning, she wanted to develop more within her side job as a recruiter, after which she progressed to recruitment consultant. In this role, she was a hub of clients, recruiters and students looking for jobs and this dynamic role was a learning experience. Inés has always been interested in the ins and outs of organisations, which is why she chose the master’s in Organisation and Management Studies. The Organizing for Global Social Challenges track within this master’s is right up her alley, as this track is focused on the social role that organisations can play. Besides studying, Inés does voluntary work and draws a lot of energy from her social network. In short, Inés is a busy bee who is busy exploring the world around her!

Evi Amersfoort

Evi is a studious student who found out while studying Communication and Information Sciences that one study was not enough. She chose to start studying Religious Studies in her second year, specialising in religion and conflict through an additional minor. She also has a keen interest in intercultural communication, which she put into practice herself while studying for six months in Australia at The University of Queensland. Having successfully completed these studies in five years, she is currently having a gap year. Her work includes working at YAG, where she takes pleasure in executing projects with concrete results. Socially committed as she is, Evi is looking forward to starting a master’s degree in Humanitarian Aid. In doing so, she hopes to combine her acquired knowledge and skills while learning how to contribute to managing humanitarian solutions.

Laurens van Oost

Laurens combines a keen analytical eye with a practical and entrepreneurial approach. After his broad undergraduate studies in Business & International Political Science at Erasmus University College and a full-time board year, Laurens came to the realisation that he wanted to specialise further. He did so with a master’s degree in Business Information Management, where he is currently immersed in the latest developments in (big) data analytics, digital business innovations and artificial intelligence. Furthermore, Laurens works as a part-time business development consultant for two startups working on sustainable healthcare. With his enthusiasm, solution-orientation and creativity, Laurens seeks to transform complex issues into clear strategies. In his spare time, you can find him on the tennis, golf or padel courts.
