After completing her IB degree at Collège du Leman in Geneva, Leonoor decided to pursue her interests in physics, chemistry and geosciences. She started her bachelor’s degree in Earth Sciences in Utrecht, where she gained a wide range of knowledge and skills in the field of geochemistry in recent years. With her ambitious and driven nature, she likes to sink her teeth into challenging projects, including a research project for Tata Steel which showed that she has a strong affinity for problem-solving research. She also enjoys seeking out new challenges outside her studies to further herself. For example, she currently holds the chair position at Earth Science Career Day Foundation, where she and her fellow board members organise a large-scale career day for students within the geosciences. Here, she is developing her organisational and communication skills, while pursuing a master’s degree in technical earth sciences at TU Delft. At YAG, Leonoor hopes to contribute to improving businesses with her passion and enthusiasm, and make the new Utrecht branch a success.
