After Ward finished his VWO at 18, he decided it was not yet time to study. There was an urge for something else and this urge eventually resulted in a year as a ski instructor in Austria. After this, he still traded the mountains for studying Electrical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology. In this study, he learns to solve abstract problems through analytical thinking. After his first year, Ward found out that precisely combining this problem-solving ability with business issues really interested him. For this reason, he then started working alongside his studies as a tutor and joined a marketing committee. As a consultant at YAG, he hopes to further develop his business knowledge and analytical thinking skills and apply them to a wide range of strategic issues.
