Bibi is driven by social engagement and politics. She is currently studying Philosophy at the University of Amsterdam, focusing on critical thinking and analyzing complex issues. Previously, she built an active political career within Volt Nederland, where she was a candidate for both the House of Representatives and the European Parliament. In these roles, she gained valuable experience in policy-making, campaigning, and representing political viewpoints in the media and debates. Bibi further developed her leadership skills through a Community Organizing course at the Harvard Kennedy School, where she learned how to mobilize communities and effect social change. She also worked for Oma’s Soep, negotiating with supermarket managers to combat poverty among the elderly, and held an editorial role at De Kiesmannen for ‘De Niet Meer Normaal Show.’ Within the Young Advisory Group, Bibi aims to leverage her analytical and organizational skills for strategic issues. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and jogging with her dog, and loves trying out new wines. Additionally, she volunteers for the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA) as a member of the Young Adult Label, where she selects documentaries that are relevant for her generation.
